Qualifications:
Earned High School diploma.
Completion of a program of study leading to a Certified Educational Facilities Manager (CEFM) certification from the NJDOE pursuant to N.

S.
A.
18A:
17-49 obtained within two years.
Minimum of five years of custodial/maintenance experience, preferably completed in a public school district.
Minimum of two years of experience in the supervision of public school building and grounds preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the basic techniques of building maintenance, grounds maintenance and general repairs.
General knowledge of building, environmental, and safety codes and regulations.
Interpersonal skills needed to relate well with school administrators, teaching staff, contractors, vendors, and members of the local community.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Excellent leadership capacity, organizational skills, and the ability to motivate people.
Possession of or eligibility for Black Seal License.
Valid driver's license issued by the NJ Department of Motor Vehicles.

Required criminal history background check and proof of U.
